no more hiding™ was founded in 2024 by Renetta Smith, born from a simple realization: Midlife isn’t a crisis. It’s a crossroad.
After spending decades devoted to motherhood, career, and responsibility, Renetta realized she had slowly disappeared from her own life. Her journey back to joy — through therapy, creativity, movement, and community — revealed something profound: countless women were quietly navigating the same midlife transitions, reinventions, and questions of identity.
What began as a few intimate gatherings with women who shared similar experiences quickly grew into something bigger. Renetta recognized a widespread need for accessible, relatable spaces where women could reconnect with themselves and each other — without judgment, pressure, or pretense.

For years, Renetta listened as women quietly carried the weight of caregiving, careers, relationships, and life's many transitions. So many appeared to have everything together while privately feeling unheard, unseen, and disconnected from themselves.
Rather than creating another self-help program, Renetta envisioned something different—a welcoming community where women in midlife and beyond could find sanctuary, have honest conversations, rediscover what makes them feel joyful and alive.
With more than 30 years of experience in project management, regulatory compliance, technology, and transportation infrastructure commercial management, supported by an MBA in International Business Management, Renetta combines strategic thinking with genuine compassion. Her greatest passion is helping women recognize that midlife is not a crisis —it's a crossroad. It's an invitation to repurposing our energy on living whole, living seen, and living free.
